From the old cellar, vintages 1942 - 2023 ports aged in very old French oak barrels. Rich and mellow, delicious nuttiness and aromas of butterscotch and fine oak wood intensify the longer they spend in wood.

The earlier vintages are produced from Black Hamburg grapes (1942 - 2012 years). 1940s through to 1960s ports represent fine liqueur like taste flavours of dried fruit intertwining with hints of chocolate and coffee flavours, good structure with a silky smooth finish on the palate.

1982 vintages are produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, stylish fruity nose, full of intense concentrated blackcurrant and cherry aromas. Full bodied and firm, the palate is crammed with luscious black fruit flavours with a red candy finish (Ruby Ports).

2013 - 2023 vintages are produced from Merlot grapes, these latest release years present a medium body weight, with elegant complex aromas, combined ripe fruit, jam and nuts, with hints of vanilla and raisins with a persistent finish.

All vintages represent the very best produce of an outstanding year - fortified with grape brandy produced on site, which is then aged in oak barrels (old cellar).

Ports are ready to drink now and will cellar well - please store your bottle sideways for longer ageing. All ports have a resealable cork stopper for easy drinking enjoyment.
